Consequently I'm wearing black and blue with my Irish-green eyes today so I threw in an insta green camisol. Look closely and see if you can tell what it is. :) The whole pinching tradition is pretty lost in my community but it just doesn't feel right not to have some green on today. Whatever.I cannot believe March is more than half over and I have yet to add a single post about this month. Zeth hit the 6-month mark a week ago. I swear this little boy is part kangaroo - he's got so much bounce in him. Last night he figured out how to pull himself up in his co-sleeper and as soon as he got vertical, he must have just been so excited he let out a big jump and almost hurled himself over the side. Time to move him to the big crib.
He's eating rice cereal, occasional bits of fruit and whatever else he can grab. Last night he got part of a croissant and told me it was tres bon! He is sitting up now, belly-crawling and doing yoga frequently - he loves the down-dog position for some reason. Still no teeth but he's working on it.At his 6-month well-baby visit last week, the doctor summed up pretty quickly, "If any kid's gonna be walking by 9-months, it's this guy." He charmed all the nurses as usual (it was intern day so there were several nurses in training assisting the doctor). They labeled him the best baby the'd seen all day even after he had drooled all over and sucked on every stethoscope and finger he could grab. Then it was time for the shots. Poor guy, even on his best behavior he still gets poked in the legs each time he goes in that building. But it's better than the alternative...I know, I know.

My dear husband has an interesting method of helping Zeth fall asleep when he's fighting against fatigue.
He will run the baby back and forth on the bed until he's so worn out he gives up the fight. Must come from his military days. It cracks me up to watch him patiently doing laps which start out with big grins and end up with heavy breathing pouts. It's very effective and Zeth knows to just relax and fall asleep after a nice run. Zana and her new friend Christina hit it off during their recent visit here and sweet little Christina decided she and Zana needed matching sundresses. So we received a cute little package from her new friend this weekend just in time for Easter next week. I'll have some better pictures of it worn properly next week but one thing we discovered is that the dress doubles as a really fabulous Easter bonnet. You know, in a pinch that is. ;-)

Happy St. Paddy's To ya! I'm grand. Loved the post. That Zana just can't take a bad shot, can she. So fotogenic!
And Zeth, manoman he's adorable! He's such a skinny guy when he's doing laps. He has the best smile. I can't believe he's getting so big.
♥ ya!
